Job Title: Welder

Job Description

This role involves fabricating and assembling a variety of metal items and equipment using cutting, burning, and welding techniques in a production manufacturing environment. The welder contributes directly to the quality and reliability of finished products by performing precise welds and ensuring components meet required specifications.

Responsibilities

Cut, burn, and weld metal components to fabricate and assemble various items and equipment according to drawings, specifications, or instructions.

Perform production welding on repetitive parts and assemblies to support consistent manufacturing output.

Use stick welding and other welding techniques to join metals safely and effectively.

Inspect welds and finished components to verify quality, accuracy, and adherence to required standards.

Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and related tools in proper working condition.

Follow established manufacturing procedures, safety guidelines, and work instructions while performing welding tasks.

Coordinate with other production team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of work orders.

Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safe and efficient operations.

Essential Skills

Proven experience in production welding within a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency with stick welding techniques for a variety of metal @types and thicknesses.

Ability to perform cutting, burning, and welding operations accurately and safely.

Capability to follow instructions, basic drawings, or specifications to complete welds and assemblies.

Strong attention to detail to ensure weld quality and adherence to standards.

Commitment to safe work practices in a production setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing or production environment.

Familiarity with different welding processes and tools used in fabrication.

Ability to work collaboratively with other production and fabrication team members.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new welding techniques, equipment, and procedures.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
